ZERO TO HERO
We often get requests from people that sailed as a youngster and now wish to take it up again to bareboat charter with a family or even sail around the world in retirement. Zero to Hero means you’ll be confidently chartering in no time, and it enables you to brush up on your sailing skills before starting Day Skipper.
Due to the intensity of this course we highly recommend you do your Day Skipper Theory on line before attending.
1. Skills Workshop – 3 days This is where you find your sea legs again. Reacquaint yourself with your old skills, cover Competent Crew and learn more skills so you are ready to continue on to your Day Skipper course. Evenings will be on board in Club De Vela marina, giving you the chance to enjoy a few restaurants in the Port.
2. Day Skipper Practical – 5 days The Day Skipper practical gives you 5 days to cover the syllabus and be tested on your theory. Accommodation is back on board at Club de Vela, along side in a different marina and at anchor.
